Our Story

Hi, I’m Tara, the owner and face of Tara Louise Skin Clinic. I will be the person to release your skin’s full potential!

I haven’t always been in skincare, so here is a little bit about me…

I completed my first degree in Biology at Manchester University. During this time I made the decision to become a Physiotherapist. I have always had an interest in Anatomy and following on from Biology, I then completed a degree in Physiotherapy.

I began my career as a Junior Physiotherapist in the NHS and spent time on the Wards and eventually settled into a role as a Senior Physiotherapist in the Community.

As much as I loved my role as a Physio, I felt my true passion lay elsewhere.

I have always had an interest in skin and beauty products and started to research different treatments available and what impact they had. At this time, I began to realise that this was where I wanted to be… Tara Louise Aesthetics was born!

What makes Tara Louise Skin Clinic different from everyone else? Firstly, the setting. We are located in a beautiful clinic in Stapeley, which is very peaceful, private and unlike larger clinics, we offer clients a more personal touch. I am on this journey with you. I want to make sure that you maximise your skin’s potential.

Tara offers a really diverse selection of treatments, using only the very best quality, luxury products. Tara herself is knowledgable and professional and has a treatment for every type of skin. I myself have been going to Tara for several years and have had peels, micro needling as well as a variety of facials. I can really see a difference after a visit and my skin feels wonderful. I went to see Tara a few weeks ago as i was unhappy with my skin, It was tight and dull and as I didn't really know much about skin care and only really did the basics. Tara was was extremely helpful and together we build up a skin care routine she felt would be suitable for myself. Since then the change in my skin has been amazing, my skin is now soft and I have a healthy natural glow. I also wanted to give a mention to my two favourite products The clinicare cleaning foam I love this product and I honestly can't recommend it enough. It also popular with the other members of the household including my teenage son. The other being the dermo correction cream moisturiser. I hate wearing foundation everyday and this moisturiser has a slight tint to it and gives a light coverage with is also soft on the skin and again I highly recommend this product. Tara is professional and explained to me what each product did and how it would help my skin. Thank you for giving me the confidence to not wear makeup everyday and improving my skin.

I messaged Tara back in January 2022 as I was a year out from my wedding day and wanted to make sure I looked flawless. She was absolutely amazing. She recommended a plan to make sure my skin would be in perfect condition for the wedding day. I became a regular going to her for facials and a good catch up. She was so welcoming and lovely and the facials made such a difference. I could notice improvements from day 1. Most importantly on the wedding day I had perfect skin so it made the makeup a million times better. Cannot fault her. She is a wonderful person, she knew exactly what I needed and made it happen. I initially began visiting Tara a few months before my wedding to get my skin ready for the big day. I have continued to have treatments with Tara a year on as I absolutely love my monthly pamper. Tara is so friendly and highly professional, always tailoring my treatments to whatever my skin needs. Since beginning my treatments my skin is blemish free and always looks fresh and glowing. I have been going to Tara for the build up to my summer wedding and can honestly say the results have been amazing from the micro needling sessions I’ve received. Suffering with acne scarring I have always been dubious about any new products or treatments on my skin, but Tara is incredibly knowledgeable and personalises every aspect of the treatment. During the session Tara checks and clarifies that you are happy and comfortable, talking you through each step of the process. For the first time in my nearly 32 years of life, I finally have skin confidence. I suffered with terrible acne all throughout my teens and 20’s which left pretty significant scarring. Even when I wasn’t breaking out, it looked like I had spots. I found Tara and we decided that, once we had treated the problem, micro needling was the way to go. I have been seeing Tara monthly since July 2022 and the difference is staggering. My scars have started to fade, my skin feels plumper and smoother and I get compliments on my skin now. Compliments!! I had the Carbyoxytherapy facial with Tara Louise and the whole experience was lovely and very relaxing. Tara is lovely and chatty and takes great pride in her work.
